ST. LOUIS -- A Ferguson man is facing over a decade in prison for a 2020 gas sttaion robbery. Harvey Cameron, 33, has been sentenced to prison for the armed robbery of a St. Louis 7-Eleven.The robbery occurred at 5350 Chippewa Street on June 21, 2020. During the incident, one of the men involved brandished a Zastava, AK-47-style rifle, demanding cash from the store employee. Both individuals were apprehended shortly after the robbery, and they were found with the stolen cash and the firearm. Florida kidnapping victims rescued from downtown St. Louis hotel Cameron pleaded guilty in July to robbery, possession and brandishing of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. FULTON, Mo. -- Police recently made an arrest in the 2002 killing of Debra Dickens. The Callaway County Sheriff's Office says that a grand jury indicted Harold Dickens on murder charges."The Callaway County Sheriff's Office would like to acknowledge the determination of our investigators, both past and present, the diligent work of the grand jury, and the efforts of all involved in this case," police state on Facebook.Debra and Harold were married before she was brutally killed. The Woodland Park School District has removed and replaced a school board policy that the local teachers union called unconstitutional because it prohibited educators from speaking to the press or posting on social media about district decisions without consent, the Woodland Park Education Association announced this week. The teachers union sued the district and its Board of Education in federal court over the summer, alleging employees’ First Amendment rights were violated by the policy. 40-Year-Old Male Cyclist Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Calvert StreetLOS ANGELES, CA (November 2, 2023) – A hit-and-run bicycle accident on Van Nuys Boulevard claimed the life of a man Monday night. Seven Injured in Multi-Car Accident near 110 FreewayLOS ANGELES, CA (November 2, 2023) – A collision involving two vehicles occurred on West 81st Street Wednesday afternoon, resulting in injuries to seven individuals. Shortly after 1:00 p.m. on October 4th, police responded to an incident in the 200 block of West 81st Street, located just east of the 110 Freeway.Law enforcement officers were conducting surveillance and identified a robbery suspect who was driving. They requested helicopter assistance to manage traffic and apprehend the suspect.
