(NEXSTAR) – Sick of the summer heat? The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has got some bad news for you. The agency released its 90-day forecast Thursday, predicting the broad weather conditions we expect to see around the country between September and November. For the vast majority of the country, it's looking like a hot summer will transition into a warm fall. Denver has been dealing with continuous 90-degree days for most of August, and according to NOAA, that trend may continue into the fall.The Northeast and Southwest have the highest chances of seeing above-average temperatures this fall, according to NOAA. DENVER (KDVR) — Police are searching for a vehicle that allegedly hit a mom and child who were riding a bike in South Boulder.On Wednesday, Aug. 3 at around 3:45 p.m., the Boulder Police Department said a woman was riding an e-bike with her 3-year-old toddler on the back. They were heading northbound on Lehigh Street in the South Boulder area.As the woman was preparing to turn left onto Cragmoor Road, the vehicle behind her passed on the right and allegedly clipped the bike's rear tire, Boulder police said. Police have released a sketch in hopes to find a man suspected of kidnapping and sexual battery of an adult female. The incident occurred near the 100 block of Southwest Second Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, just before 5:25 a.m., Saturday. Police describe the man as dangerous, armed and on the run. According to authorities, a male and female were sitting inside a parked vehicle when the suspect, a black male, armed with a firearm, approached them. As students in Miami-Dade County return to school, one South Florida police department is giving back to their community to honor an officer who died in the line of duty one year ago. On Thursday, the Miami-Dade Police Department held a remembrance ceremony for fallen officer Cesar “Echy” Echaverry at their headquarters, located at 9105 NW 25 St., where they gave out backpacks with school supplies to underprivileged children. Two hundred sixteen backpacks filled with folders, pens, pencils and other supplies were collected for the giveaway. Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava attended the remembrance ceremony. “Our memory of that terrible event and our loss lives deeply in our hearts.” Levine Cava said. Emergency responders arrived at the scene of a crash involving a rolled-over vehicle on State Road 836 that has caused closures on the highway, Thursday afternoon. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews confirmed the call came in at 12:01 p.m. as a vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailor. Live video footage showed fire officials, along with Florida Highway Patrol deputies, on the westbound lanes of the highway near Northwest 137th Avenue where a damaged vehicle lay on its side on the shoulder. Crews also worked to soak up oil that leaked onto the road. Due to the fuel leak, the Department of Environmental Resources Management was contacted to assist in the clean-up.
