Randy Gregory has more to give. He doesn’t need to be reminded of that. The 30-year-old edge rusher knows he has never played a full season in his career and that a knee injury limited him to six games in 2022 after the Broncos gave him a five-year, $70 million contract. For Gregory to make good on Denver’s investment, he must win the battle within. Yes, Gregory’s physical health is essential to staying on the field and being the electrifying pass rusher who’s impressed teammates and head coach Sean Payton. But he knows the mental aspect will allow him to handle the ups and downs of an NFL season.Entering Year 2 in the Mile High City, Gregory believes he is in the right headspace to help a formidable defense reach another level.“Everyone is tied up on the physical, (but) the biggest thing for me this offseason was getting the mental (aspect) down,” Gregory said. “Being able to fight those little mental battles. You are going to have bad plays, (so) put them behind you and move o...Coach Prime, Rams and Mines, oh my! How to plan perfect Colorado college football road trip for 2023, week by week.

If Coach Prime has you thinking that Boulder, and not Athens, Ga., is the epicenter of the college football universe, he might not be wrong. But the potential narratives around the Front Range run wilder than Ralphie at full tilt. Within 75 miles of downtown Denver, you can watch Deion Sanders in person (for a price), the defending Division II national runners-up and more live mascots per capita than an Animal Planet marathon.Heck, if you wanted to plan a road trip of just Front Range games between now and Thanksgiving, there’s something for just about everybody each and every week. Want to check out the reigning winner of the Harlon Hill Trophy, the Division II Heisman? Mines quarterback John Matocha is back slinging it in Golden. Dig trophy games? CSU is playing in two of them over back-to-back weekends. To that end, the Denver Post sports staff has laid out a planner for a drivable 2023 college football tour of Front Range games over the next few months — although with a couple of ...Standoff with armed man comes to end after nearly 11 hours in Orange County

My diagnosis with breast cancer at the age of 30 shattered my world. It challenged my sense of who I was and who I was becoming. I was young, newly married, healthy (I thought) and ambitious — in other words, thriving — and planning for the future. In fact, at the time of my diagnosis, my husband and I had just started thinking about trying for a baby.My breast cancer diagnosis was triple-negative invasive ductal carcinoma — a particularly fast-growing and aggressive type. On top of that, I carry a BRCA1 mutation, which puts me at very high risk for breast and ovarian cancer. This genetic legacy was why my father, as a young person, watched his mother die of breast cancer and witnessed his aunt and grandmother suffer through it.Our family-building hopes were put on hold as I stepped back from work and underwent 16 months of cancer treatment: 26 rounds of chemotherapy, four surgeries, six visits to the emergency room and hundreds of doctor appointments in between.Fo...Single-family house in Danville sells for $1.9 million

The Supreme Court is set to rule this term in a case that could lead to the elimination of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. A federal agency tasked with protecting consumers from predatory lending and banking practices, the CFPB is being sued by two trade groups representing industries it regulates: The groups filed their suit in 2018 over a rule aimed at protecting borrowers from payday lenders. The case is the latest step in a yearslong conservative fight to dismantle the CFPB. At least 13 states, including red states like Arkansas and Georgia, have limited or made payday lending illegal, and others have passed recent ballot initiatives to crack down on the industry. “The attorney generals are collecting millions of dollars in campaign contributions to undermine the only serious effort to regulate payday loans.”Despite widespread approval among Republican voters to regulate or prohibit payday lending, Republican officials in more than 20 state...Gabon’s leader calls on people to ‘make noise’ after mutinous soldiers detain him in attempted coup
