Tens of thousands of people are expected to gather on the National Mall for a “March for Israel” on Tuesday afternoon, more than a month after the Oct. 7 attack by the Hamas terrorist organization.The Jewish Federations of North America and Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations put the event together. Organizers said security gates on the National Mall will open at 10 a.m. The rally is scheduled to run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.The demonstration’s National Park Service permit, which is based upon information provided by the organizers, said up to 60,000 people are anticipated at the event.
