(KRON) -- The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Coroner Division has identified the man who was found dead in a parking lot earlier this week.Abel Garza, 41, of Santa Rosa was found unresponsive in the 20 block of Matheson Street just after 10 a.m. on Monday. He was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel, according to the Healdsburg Police Department. The cause of what led up to the altercation is currently unknown. A woman was hospitalized after she was bitten by a dog.Police arrived at the scene of the attack at Northwest Fourth Avenue near 65th Street, Friday morning. 7News cameras captured evidence markers that were placed at the scene.Once police arrived at the scene, they attempted to restrain the dog, but a second dog appeared and charged at officers. According to police, one of the officers had to fire in the dog’s direction. Footage of the shots fired were captured by a car’s dash-cam. The woman was rushed to the hospital by fire rescue crews. Her condition is unknown. The area has been blocked off until police finish their investigation. Eleven out of NATO’s 31 allies are set to meet the alliance’s defense investment target this year, according to new data published Friday.It’s a bump up from 2022, when merely seven allies cleared the spending threshold, but still short of where NATO would like to be.
