Details remain limited but officials addressing the media said three officers were taken to a nearby hospital for observation following a response in the 200 block of Fern Drive. Two UT teaching assistants lose their positions after message about Palestine AUSTIN (KXAN) – Two University of Texas teaching assistants in the Department of Social Work were relieved after they sent an email to students through the UT message board system about the war between Israel and Palestine. The TAs said the message was intended to provide mental health resources to Palestinian, Arab and Muslim students. Body found near trail in west St. Louis County ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - Police are investigating a death Friday afternoon near a trail in west St. Louis County. Police say a man was found deceased in the area of 1 Lone Elk Park Road near Chubb Trail. Authorities responded to the area around 4 p.m. Friday. Detectives with the St. Louis County Police Department are handling the investigation. It's unclear what led up to the victim's death and authorities have not yet disclosed his identity.
