San Jose: Massage therapist suspected of sexually assaulting clients

SAN JOSE — A 73-year-old massage therapist was arrested in early March after an alleged victim accused him of sexual assault and a second victim was located, according to the San Jose Police Department.Antonio Zacariz was arrested after the victim, a woman, alerted San Jose police of the alleged assault in July of 2022. During what police called a “comprehensive investigation,” an additional victim was identified.Authorities arrested Zacariz at his San Jose home on March 7. Police said he’s worked as a massage therapist since 2015 and performed the massages at his home.Police asked anyone with information about the case or similar incidents to contact Detective Montez of the Sexual Assaults Investigations Unit at [email protected] or at 408-277-4102.This is a developing story. REDWOOD CITY — One of three suspects who stole as many as eight catalytic converters in an overnight spree last month may have been armed with an AK47-style assault rifle, according to authorities.Private security video from a resident captured three suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts during the March 21 rash of thefts. According to police, the suspect vehicle was a dark-colored 2010 or later model Audi with stock, five-spoke colored wheels. (KRON) -- Crews responded to a fire at a one-story house in Alameda Tuesday night, the Alameda Fire Department said on Twitter. The fire happened on the 500 block of Corpus Christi Road at around 10:38 p.m. Alameda car thief caught in the act: police Officials said the fire was "under control" in 20 minutes.
