DENVER (KDVR) — Denver's weather will turn stormy late Tuesday into Wednesday with severe weather possible on both days.Wednesday will be a Pinpoint Weather Alert Day because of the chance of damaging winds, small hail and isolated tornadoes.Weather tonight: Late-night stormsSome late-night storms could develop along the Front Range after 9 p.m. on Tuesday. AURORA, Co. (KDVR) -- A local union of sheet metal workers is calling for an independent investigation into what happened at the Gaylord Rockies on Saturday.Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #9 said an independent investigation must be done to determine what caused the HVAC ducts to collapse.Six people were hurt in the collapse, and dozens of others scrambled for safety when the air ducts went crashing down into the pool area. A child died Tuesday after being hit by a tractor-trailer in Andover, according to a state police spokesperson. Andover Police Chief Patrick Keefe in a separate statement said crews responded to the intersection of Elm and Main Streets around 5:15 p.m., adding that a pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
